Hi I'm Mary,
I am a retired registered nurse, fitness coach, breast cancer survivor , and now… author.
After spending over three decades in healthcare, teaching anatomy and physiology and coaching women how to stay physically fit, I’ve seen how much power we have over our health and how we give that power away.
Work That Body was born out of reality. It’s not a textbook. It’s not a lecture. It’s a real honest sometimes sassy guide for women who are tired of making excuses and are ready to show up for themselves: Mind, Body, and Spirit.
I wrote it because I’ve lived it. I’ve seen what happens when we let our bodies break down without a fight. And I.ve also see how strong we can become when we take control of our health, one step or squat at a time.
This book is part nurse’s insight, and trainer’s wisdom, and a whole lot of love. Whether you’re 25 or 65, recovering from illness or just trying to feel good in your own skin again, I promise this book is for you.
