Mary A. Whitfield is a retired healthcare professional, published author, personal fitness trainer, and breast cancer survivor who has spent her life empowering women to reconnect with their strength, inside and out. With a Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Management, she spent years teaching Endocrinology, Anatomy, and Physiology to aspiring nurses while coaching clients in fitness and lifestyle transformation.
Her book, Work That Body Now, is a reflection of both her professional insight and deeply personal journey through illness and healing. Mary believes that age, illness, or setbacks do not define a woman’s ability to grow stronger. With a voice that is equal parts compassionate and no-nonsense, she invites women to let go of guilt, take back control of their health, and move forward. She currently lives in California with her loving comfort pet, Porsha.
